TOM RAMSEY Executive Director
Tom has spent his lifetime learning and growing in the Word, then leading studies in church classrooms, and recently starting and leading an online learning platform. He was involved in the developmental years of Ligonier Ministries, both in co-writing many study guides, and then piloting various courses, prior to national launch. He also lead the Adult Educational initiative under Pastor Alistair Begg, as a elder and lay minister, and then again at two other churches.
Professionally, Tom ran a number of small to medium size firms in executive roles, and then spent over 15 years in undergraduate and graduate teaching, at Wake Forest University, University of Southern California, Loyola Marymount University, and short term assignments at various other colleges.
The combination of personal learning, seminary coursework, and then professional teaching has provided unique understanding and leadership.
Tom created the online learning platform for The Gospel Story during the “pilot” phase of the initial courses in 2018, and has now helped hundreds of fellow believers come to KNOW, GROW, and APPLY God’s Word in their lives.

I grew up in a Bible church and accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age. I had been exposed to the stories of the Bible. As an adult, the depth of my faith has had seasons of growth and rejuvenation and other times where I was not as deeply connected and mindful of my spiritual growth. I knew the stories of the Bible, and yet this series brought the Bible to life in a way I had never fully appreciated and understood.
What I love most about this series – it fosters growth in your spiritual walk no matter where you are. You will see the one story arc throughout each phase of the series, from Old Testament to New Testament. You will see God who hardened the heart of Pharoah and soften the heart of Nebuchadnezzar is the same God in control of all things. The studies gave me peace that surpasses all understanding. I pray that you will consider this journey and that it blesses you greatly.
PAM and BOB kRUPKA
Pamela and Bob are each retired intellectual property lawyers. Pamela counseled clients and helped them obtain patents and other intellectual property. Bob was a trial lawyer handling civil cases dealing with intellectual property disputes, mostly patents.
We began studying the Gospel Story series in January 2019 and have taken every course, and were moderators of both the Old Testament and New Testament courses.
These courses helped each learn more about the Bible, our God, and our relationship with Him. They have helped us practically apply Biblical teaching to everyday life. We feel closer than ever to God, and changed how we live our lives and relate to others.
Ron Izynski
Ron has recently taken a break from a 41 year career as a Podiatrist in northern Indiana. During his work career, he has seen the gospel become an increasingly stronger influence with regards to his relationships with patients. Sharing the Word, praying for and with patients and encouraging them along their way became an integral part of every day practice.
His pathway to access and study The Gospel Story is remarkable and can only be attributed to the graciousness and power of the Holy Spirit. The journey began in early 2020 and has blossomed into personal growth of knowing God in the fullness of the Trinity. The Gospel Story courses have been foundational for launching a new passion and desire to continue to know Him, and to make Him known more and more each day.
